A mere three months after her senior team debut, Agyemang played a crucial and game-changing role in England's run to winning the Euros.
She entered the fray to score key tying goals in both the knockout stage games.
Agyemang's stunning interventions led to her being named the best young player at the Euros.
Afterwards, she was awarded the Golden Girl trophy for the finest emerging star on the continent.
She was also in contention for the Kopa Trophy for the planet's top young female footballer.
Agyemang, who has been at Brighton in a temporary move from Arsenal, ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament in October.
"Being nominated for this honour is a privilege," said Agyemang. "I thank God and I'm thankful for the support I've received from my loved ones, mentors, colleagues and supporters."

Littler's 2025 began in spectacular fashion as - aged 17 - he became the youngest darts world champion in history.
He secured a dominant victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final.
His subsequent victory at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth individual to complete the prestigious PDC Triple Crown.
His success continued - his victory at November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he reached world number one for the maiden occasion.
At 18, he is the most youthful player to do so, shattering the previous record.
"Being nominated for the honour once more is a massive accolade," stated Littler. "Winning last year was a proud moment for me and I've had another unbelievable 12 months. I want to continue raising the profile of darts."
Davina Perrin

Perrin is one of English cricket's brightest emerging stars and surged to prominence with an unbelievable and unprecedented innings in August.
Her brilliant 42-ball century in The Hundred is the fastest by an English woman in T20s.
It also stands as the equal third-quickest women's T20 century in a top-tier competition.
Perrin finished second in the season's run tally and was named the young player of the year by the PCA.
"I'm deeply humbled to be named a finalist for the young athlete award," expressed Perrin. "It's a very special feeling. I hope it motivates more young women to get into cricket."
