The City of Angels witnessed widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
